Estelle Bajou is an actor, musician, and writer living in New York City. She holds a BA in Theater and Creative Writing from Simon’s Rock College of Bard, and an MFA in Acting from the New School for Drama in NYC. A few beloved recent roles include Lea in “My Sister in This House”, Karen in “A Children’s Hour”, Marie in “Marie Antoinette”, the Pupil in Ionesco’s “The Lesson”, Arlene in “Getting Out”, Nell in “Endgame”, Charity in “Charity Begins at Home”, Rootie in “Graceland”, Carnelle in “The Miss Firecracker Contest”, Trisha in “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress”, and Anne in “The Diary of Anne Frank” (National Tour).
Her love affair with the violin is 21 years strong, spanning in interest and experience from classical to Americana to Slavic punk. As a writer she has her fingers in the sockets of poetry, fiction, dramatic writing, and creative non-fiction.
