Tommaso was born and grew up in Lake Como, Italy. He enrolled in college, but decided to go looking for something more interesting. He moved to Dublin and joined the Gaiety School of Acting, then New York, where he found a lot of things that can indeed be considered interesting. Including the American Acedemy of Dramatic Arts, where he graduated in 2007.
He worked with directors Lisa Milinazzo and Zenon Kruszelnicki, Royal Shakespeare Company director and former LAMDA president Roger Croucher, and Broadway veterans Jonathan Bolt and Barry Snider.
